Domain Name Transfers

If you wish to transfer a domain name that you have registered with another registrar to Glide Hosting, this page will help you with the process. By transfering your domain name to Glide Hosting you will receive excellent pricing as well as integrated domain name management within your control panel.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Glide Hosting recommends that you initiate a transfer at least 30 days prior to the domain name's current expiration date. We offer no guarantee that a transfer will succeed on first attempt as there may be 'locks' or other security measures in place at the domain name's current registrar. Please disable any security measures that may prevent the successful transfer of your domain prior to initiating the transfer.

Glide Hosting is not responsible for domain names that expire during a pending or failed transfer attempt. Until you receive explicit confirmation (this does not include receipt of payment) that a transfer has been completed to DotRegistrar.com (iHoldings Inc.) on behalf of Glide Media Inc., you are responsible for maintaining the status of your domain name with the current registrar. Domains that expire during a transfer process will likely not be successfully transfered.

A typical successful domain name transfer will complete in 3-7 days. If you have not received confirmation after 7 days, please submit a support ticket to check on the status of the transfer.

1 year will be added to the expiry date of your domain name for CAD$9.95.
(1 year registration is normally CAD$14.95)

There is no charge for the actual domain name transfer to Glide Hosting.
